Whose Got America’s Back?

It seems that part of America is raising its ugly head again. Now entering the presidential race again, perhaps as kind of a last resort tool is the race card, which has a poll saying that some voters are reluctant to elect an African American Person of Color, a Black man, because this poll is suggesting that Blacks are lazy, violent and are to blame for their own predicament.

First it appeared yahoo news on http://news.yahoo.com/page/election-2008-political-pulse-obama-race;_ylt=AjexW3Bc8rEJ8Re3Pcmv2_iyFz4D, and then it appeared on CBS’ website http://wcbstv.com/national/barack.obama.whites.2.822075.html

America is forever polling, perhaps some are true to a certain extent, but to me polls have a way of suggesting exactly what they want to occur, in this case helping an old man with the many of same views as Bush to get into the White House to continue robbing America. I say America don’t be fooled by this old trick of the Republican Party, remember a snake is still a snake, and we’ve been bitten already. So many of you have lost your jobs, your money, your homes, your love ones and many have come back home terribly maimed as a result of this present administration, who continues to rob and steal from you by continuing this war in Iraq. And speaking of being violent, look at this current Republican administration and the violence that they incurred on Iraq and then speak to me about who’s the violent one. Ask yourself are you responsible for your losses the same way that this article is suggesting that Blacks are responsible for theirs?

When is America going to wake up and smell the stench that has corroded our lives? Let’s face it, prejudice is all over this country, in some instances it is like a bad tooth ache and in other instances it is like a cut that is healing, a reminder that we all need to work on our own insecurities and get rid of our egos. No matter what happens that is not going to change over night, but in any instance wouldn’t you rather go to sleep at night and wake up knowing that you have someone who is on your side and not voting against you as John McCain did when he voted with Bush on his policies violently invading another country for no reason?

Prejudice takes time to eradicate, but with our help we can diminish it everyday. Given the chance of a lifetime to change this country will only come by electing Barack Obama and Joe Biden, who with your help will bring America back to a more peaceful nation that helps Americans here and the human race abroad. Obama and Biden have the American peoples back; McCain and Palin have Bushes back.

BEWARE OF ARROGANCE

Sometimes it is the arrogance of people that get in the way of so many things, like love or friends. They believe that they’re too good for others, and are only willing to select those whom they think are the epitome of themselves perhaps, their so-called good looks, their money and their supposed knowledge of things; you know the cream of the crop.

When people think that their way is the only way, they become so rigid that they are unwilling to bend, and this too can be a form of arrogance, it can also be the makings of disaster.

Look at this government and those currently in power in this administration. Look at their higher than though attitude, including the current man sitting in the White House. Look at the way he has defined his position, look how he placed America in danger by invading Iraq thus starting a war; this country continues to lose more in human lives and more daily.

So beware America, beware of whom you elect. Beware of the politics of John McCain for it seems that his protégé is George Bush, and look at his record. Murder, mayhem, lying constantly to the American people and financial disaster are his trade marks and they will also be his legacy. So beware America because John McCain is following in George Bush’s footsteps; there is no change there so beware.

Elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden to win back America for Americans and help build our integrity again. Elect Obama and Biden to bring back our jobs, health insurance, schools and homes. Take out the disease that’s be sucking America dry for the last eight years and give yourself credit for seeing past the fraudulent Republican party.

Empowering Each Other

Empowerment is a powerful word, which simply means giving power to, giving someone a greater sense confidence. The expression power to the people is just that; it means power to you and me.

In order to be empowered one must believe that they can be empowered; they must first believe that they are that important because if you do not believe that you are important, there is no way that you can be empowered. You’ve got to believe that you are worth everything that you can dream or imagine, it’s all about yourself; we are the important ones. It is very crucial that we believe that we are important, that we are in this struggle together, that we do have a say in who governs our lives, because this is how we must act so that we can send a message loud and clear that we care about ourselves, the welfare of our families and friends, and that we care about this country, and very important we are tired of being robbed.

One of the greatest ways that you can empower yourself is to vote. Never leave it up to the next person by thinking that he or she doesn’t have to vote, because they’ll be enough voting without them, don’t ever believe it. Just as you trust yourself to go to the bank and cash your own check, only trust yourself to go to the polls and vote, which will bring home a victory for Obama and Biden for the next president and vice president of the United States of America. Remember that this is how to empower each other, don’t vote and you will be empowering the other side.
